hisoka SG she says something about hoping he will be able to concentrate etc when he starts uni in the fall. and she did mention his grades are consistent. so i think no worries. take it as a hobby. as mentioned i prob played what seemed to be too much to quite a few pple too. and i did not too bad( okz there is a chance i might have got a 1st class if i was really no life and only studied....). i was lucky in that my parents knew i was dedicated to gettign good results; they were the ones who were tellign me its ok if i didn't do that well
fudgester SG Ours is slowly going down the drain. In all honesty, I'm glad that I'm not a secondary or Pre-U student at this point in time. Basically every single 'improvement' that the ministry has been introducing is pulling our education further and further down the abyss. I can still remember how my batch was the last to not require SAT test scores for admission to NUS and NTU. Some of my friends who couldn't get the courses they wanted had to pay a bundle of dosh just to study for the SAT and to take it - all while doing their NSF liability. They actually stayed up after lights out to study under their blankets by the light of their L-torches. I can still remember how much they cursed and swore when the MOE did an abrupt about-turn and announced that SAT was no longer needed.
stellazio SG Talking bout education, the system here in Singapore is really stressful for the young ones,hey look even our education minister looks so stressed! Wonder if hell spend some of his increment on Beijing 101..

At the very least you will always have something interesting to tell a girl you like, and is convenient fodder for chitchat... rather than... the weather... my job... my lunch today.... the sad state of no increment....
